I am here at Verso to look at integrating various systems within the business for the benefit of our IFA users and businesses.

I started my financial software career as Principal Developer for Webline quotation portal, and finally becoming IT Director. In 2006 Webline was acquired by Capita Financial Software. I worked on a number of projects including the development of Portavista, an investment platform for Bankhall IFA network and integrating the quotation portal to Synaptic research tool, and Quay back office system. With a colleague of mine, Smile Computer Solutions was formed. We provided software development resource for Rowan Dartington (fund manager), JCA Occupation Psychologists (psychometric assessment), ChargePoint services (Uk car charging network) and a number of smaller customers.

After a stint of running our own business, my business partner and I went to work directly with our 2 principal customers. I moved onto the online pet retail industry as Head of Information Systems, Paws holdings, overseeing the development of the warehouse management system, data migration for a business we had purchased, and integration of a new demand planning tool.
